¡Hola! Thanks for using our resources. This time, we are sharing a great PDF worksheet to help you practice some useful expressions and questions to go shopping for clothes in a Spanish-speaking country or at any shop where you could speak Spanish. This material consists of three basic dialogues about simple clothes’ descriptions, ways to ask for prices and more.
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises in this worksheet.
Print the worksheet and hand each student a copy. In order to solve the exercises, they must first read each dialogue and try to discuss which of the given options may fit the blanks best. Once they have agreed, they must fill in the gaps so that each dialogue on people shopping for clothes in Spanish makes sense. The main goal for this activity is that students are able to understand what people are trying to buy and how they are doing so.

In-class activity:
The teacher brings a set of flashcards with the vocabulary for specific clothing items for three different groups, that is, every group has different items to talk about and possibly a different scenario for their short conversation. Students discuss what a seller might ask if they go shopping for clothes in Spanish, and how they could reply or ask for prices. Then, they write a new dialogue with one seller and one or two customers, depending on how many students work together. They should rehearse and present their original dialogue to the rest of the class.
