¡Hola! Thanks for joining us. This time, we are sharing a great PDF worksheet with two grammar exercises about reflexive verbs and pronouns in Spanish. These pronouns and verbs are essential in the language and this material will definitely help you learn more about them. Let’s start…
Directions:
Students can work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises in this worksheet. They can also solve the exercises through the interactive quizzes in this page.
As we explain in the worksheet, reflexive verbs are actions that reflect directly onto the subject. In a sentence like “Yo me baño” (I take a shower), we are using the conjugated form of the reflexive verb “bañarse“. Here we are practically saying “I bathe myself”, and if we just say “Yo baño”, we are not saying who is taking the shower, which would be incorrect. Here are the directions for both exercises:
- Exercise No. 1: Students must complete the chart using either a reflexive pronoun in Spanish or the correct conjugated form of the reflexive verb in the first column. Know that each sentence starts from the second column, that is, the subject. The first column is just to tell which Spanish reflexive verbs you must use.
- Exercise No. 2: Students must unscramble and rewrite these sentences using the correct conjugations for the reflexive pronouns. Remember that each subject pronoun is strictly connected to a specific reflexive pronoun, e.g. “Yo me“, “él se“… etc.
