¡Hola! Thanks for joining us in this reading activity. This time, we are sharing a nice worksheet with three short passages related to people’s job schedules in Spanish, in addition to some reading comprehension questions for students. This material will focus on ways to talk about daily routines, time and the names of some occupations in the language.
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet.
In order to solve the exercises in this worksheet, students must read the three short passages on top of the page. They will read about job titles, schedules and things people do at work in Spanish. The texts are mostly written in the simple present tense and will describe these occupations in Spanish. Once students have read the passages, they must reply to questions below about each person. Please make sure students write full sentences in the blanks, e.g. “Javier es contador. Él trabaja en una compañía.“.

Extra Activity:
Students work in couples to write a short passage describing someone’s job in Spanish and its schedule, just like ones provided in the worksheet. They could do it as homework so that they can bring real life pictures of the person they chose doing some activities at work, e.g. “Juan es ingeniero civil. El construye casas.” Then, they present for the rest of the class and the teacher gives them some feedback afterwards.
