¡Hola! Previously, we shared a list of common irregular verbs in Spanish and another using these verbs in sentences. This time, we are sharing a great PDF worksheet with three grammar exercises to learn to recognize and use more of these important irregular verbs in Spanish in the present tense. We hope you can get the best out of these materials. Let’s start…
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet. They can also solve it online through the interactive quizzes in this page.
This material consists of three different exercises. To solve the first exercise, students must conjugate the irregular verbs in Spanish in parentheses in the present tense and write them down on the blank spaces, for example:
- Yo ______ esas sillas y tú ________ esas mesas. (mover)
- Respuesta: Yo muevo esas sillas y tú mueves esas mesas.
For the second exercise, students must read the text a couple of times and find all the “verbos irregulares” in it. They can circle, underline or highlight them. Finally, for the third exercise, students should find the irregular verbs in the sentences, cross them out and write the correct conjugation or form of these verbs so that all sentences make sense and are grammatically correct.
