¡Hola! Thanks for joining us. This time, we are sharing a nice PDF worksheet with reading exercises based on three passages about impressive places in the Americas and ways to express superlatives in Spanish. We hope you like this material and learn a couple of new things from it!
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises in this worksheet.
Print the worksheet and hand each student a copy. Students will read short descriptions of three impressive places in Spanish: “El Desierto de Atacama” (The Atacama Desert), “Machu Pichu” and “El Parque Nacional Yellowstone” (Yellowstone National Park). Each of these passages includes key facts about each place, and more importantly, we have added many sentences using the superlative in Spanish to describe certain qualities and things around these beautiful places. To solve the first exercise, students should carefully read the passages and find the correct information to answer the questions about these places. As for the second exercise, students must fill in the blanks using words in superlative in Spanish from the readings to complete each chunk of information properly. There might be more than one way to complete some of these sentences.
