¡Hola! Thanks for joining us today. This time, we are sharing a very nice PDF worksheet to test your reading skill by reading a couple of travel postcards in Spanish, which tell about the things people are doing in the places they are visiting . This worksheet comes with two exercises for students to get the best out of this material.
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet.
In order to solve the exercises in this worksheet, students must take a look at the drawings and read the two travel postcards in Spanish on top. They will read about two people describing the places that they are visiting, the food, the landmarks and the things that they like about those places. The predominant grammar in both texts is the present progressive. For exercise No. 1, they must scan the text and answer the questions based on what Carlos and Rachel did on their trips. For exercise No. 2, they must read the statements and mark them as “Verdadero” (True) or “Falso” (False) based on what is written on both postcards.

Extra Activity:
Students work in groups of four to plan a travel postcard in Spanish similar to the ones in the PDF worksheet. They should all pretend to be tourists at a country they like, each group with a different country preferably. Then, once they have proofread their paragraph or gotten feedback from the teacher, they should write it on a poster paper as a large postcard and present for the rest of the class. The text should be written using the present progressive for actions in progress in Spanish, but they could also use other tenses if they know how to.
